A Cornish Chestnut
One thing often leads to another. We set out this morning across the bridge to Cornwall, then up through the Tamar valley. I thought I would collect some Autumn leaves, fir cones and anything else I could find. The plan was to create an Autumn still-life arrangement. Back home with my Autumn assortment I couldn't find an arrangement I liked. Decided therefore to just create a simple image of this chestnut cupule, with a single nut remaining, against a black background and lit from the left-hand side.
