Lapwing #98

Boiler service and supermarket shopping this morning and a visit to Pennington Flash in the afternoon followed by a couple of hours at my parents. 
There was not so much happening at the flash, and we were forced to play "dodge the showers" as there were many short sharp downpours interspersed with brief periods of sunshine. Luckily there are 6 hides to shelter in, just not very many birds today. This lapwing was feeding right in front of us at the Horrocks hide as the sun shone.
