Allegory

As part of a meeting with my cousins we’ve got a guided tour in the Federal Parliament. The building is full of surprises regarding stories and history. On the tableau in the hall of the National Council a naked woman with an olive branch as a symbol for peace is hidden in the clouds and as a joke the artist painted a fish on the ledge because the building was inaugurated on a first of April which is the day of jokes here around. In French these jokes are called «poisson d’avril»
