Flying Squad

After a morning spent researching travel options and thinking of how many ways I can describe the whisky drinking experience it was time to emerge into the real world and...the snow that was carpeting the ground first thing had all disappeared. So,we got bundled up and went over to Gosford House - we often snoop around the grounds and the lakes but a couple of times a year they open the house for a few hours and this afternoon was one of those occasions. Ruby has decided she's going to buy it when she's older so she'd better keep up the studies.

After a tour around the old place we needed to get warmed up and headed up to Gullane for nachos, club sandwiches, fish & chips and pasta. Outside for a quick blip and then up to see the new swanky walled garden project at Archerfield and to gaze at the new microbrewery they have there - they have started production already and the dark ale is a winner. We also went on a drive around the private housing estate and Joe has decided he's living there when he's older so....he'd better keep up the studies too!

Eve's moving to Japan apparently.
