Windermere

Such an amazing calm, wonderful morning, blue sky going on forever. My dad suggested a run up to the Lakes to me and my niece who was home from uni. What a fab idea, we set off at 12, then drove up to the Lythe Valley, and first stop was lunch at the Brown Horse, Winster, where we could sit and enjoy this outside. We went across on the Ferry, then to Tower Bank Arms, for a coffee. There was plenty of chance to stop for photos, and we had a lovely day together, talking about times we’d done this trip with mum.
