Aksel's house

Aksel*, a long term resident in this, his house across the road, moved out recently, leaving it empty. I haven't seen him in months and when I did he looked very ill. A neighbour said he's moved into a care facility and that it was the drink that brought him undone. Watching his gradual decline, he looked like there was something worse going on than one or three too many down the local.

The house will go up for sale as is. While I am certain that Aksel is in a better place getting better care than he can provide for himself, I am concerned about the dishes of cat food on the verandah. I'm not aware of a cat living there but will keep an eye out.
