And still they keep coming

I picked probably the last lot of dahlias today - still plenty growing but as soon as the weather turns it gets frosty they will be finished.

The sun was shining today and I started with a walk (need to burn off last weeks excess calories). Home to put a few more loads through the wash before a volunteering shift. Sad calls - especially one from a lady who’d suffered from massive head and face swelling ( including chronic pain and headaches) since having the vaccine. Very sad and worrying.

Home to consult with OH who had been playing golf to decide whether to attend leaving drinks for ex colleague. We went and it was lovely to see folks who were warm and chatty apart from the witch and her husband, who blanked me!! Such is life and I won’t lose any sleep.

Home for dinner on a tray ( very unusual) and a couple of episodes of Succession - lots of people raving about Series Three so we thought we ought to start series one! Looks promising.
