Friday has arrived , playtime for us this weekend as we are meeting a couple of friends who also have a motorhome . We have booked a campsite in the Ribble Valley , near Bolton by Bowland.( it also has a view of Pendle. Our friends are keen beekeepers so they will bring honey.
It’s been a busy week, a motorway trip to Leicester in order to take my dad to a funeral , an early morning trip the following day across the Peak District to look after our granddaughter, backwards and forwards to the garage to get Ruby the motorhome fixed and then the car so that it would get through it’s MOT plus 2 days with our very active toddler . We are ready for a weekend of chill time and feel grateful for the luxury of being able to relax in such pleasant surroundings with interesting company.
