Slime mould

Dog vomit slime mould! Proper name Fuligo sceptica. There's a lot of it about just now. Weather conditions seem to be perfect for it. It is a primitive organism, sharing characteristics with fungi and single celled animals. Looks unpleasant, but it's harmless.
