In the spotlight

Thought this autumnal leaf looked lovely in the sunshine ....... it contrasted well with the darker green leaves ..... hope you think so too :-)

Spotted two Red Admiral butterflies in the garden today ....... really surprised to still see them but a lovely treat :-)

I made a start cutting back the Lavender bushes today ....... it was reasonably mild & dry so a good day for it :-)

I managed to get two of them cut back ...... unfortunately I displaced/evicted two Plume Moths! One of them hotfooted winged it straight into the next Lavender bush .... so it will be evicted again in a day or so when I get to that one! Not sure where the other one went!
