Morning spent clearing my "lake" in the cutting. Still lots to do. Tim is going to help dam it. Clive moved planks from the old deck. They'll be used in the construction. Then we'll add fallen branches from the nearby trees to make it look natural.

Tim volunteers for the canal and river trust and has picked up so many skills. He will make it look fabulous. 

Louise arrived this afternoon. We walked the Jubilee wood and Caen Hill flight circuit then stopped for tea and cake at the cafe at the top of the locks. Eaten outside.

Lucy's husband has covid.  They have a flat in Wales because that's where he works. Lucy hasn't seen him for a week. She's tested negative.  He'll stay away until he's well again.

And Clive sold his tank of a car. Hurrah!!
