SallyMair's raspberries

Just look at the raspberries that are ripening on the cane that SallyMair donated to our garden makeover back in March!

I hardly slept again last night - that's three nights in a row now - so I have not had the energy to do much today. My main achievement was to half-make the Christmas cakes. The tins are greased and all the dry ingredients are mixed. Tomorrow I will deal with the eggs, sugar, butter, brandy and lemon, then bring everything together for the baking. If I sleep well, I will also venture out into the garden, I hope.

We're watching Enola Holmes on Netflix this evening.
