I didn't get out of the market much between 9 and 4, that's why I've blipped another market shot. The sky was grey, outdoors.

I set myself some goals today (financial) and data ( requesting addresses for catalogues) and sales of advent calendars. I achieved the first two goals and didn't sell any advent calendars at all. All in all, I was happy. Having goals definitely helps.

Packing up was tricky, because crowds of people poured in and. R, the market manager, started playing Heavy Metal music on the stereo. A drinker with two can of White Diamond? White lightning? came in and attempted a conversation about how if he was to smash the chruch hall ceiling in, he'd find some treasure in the rafters. There was more, but the gist of it was that he thought he knew me from about 35 years ago in Stroud, and I was telling him that he couldn't have known me because I wasn't in Stroud then. Trying to be polite without attracting another stalker ( I was wearing my name badge) and also to pack up at speed. Eventually I went to talk to R about him, and he wandered off. Perhaps he actually recognised me from when I taught at the rehab.

At home, I unpacked, whizzed around with the cordless vac ( I still love it) and watched Pointless Celebrities. Still have to do my accounts, but I'm pretty much on holiday now for the next eight days. Yay to that!
