Past Its Best

We decided to take a day off today and went to Northallerton to find some cheap photo frames to use on our photography stall at the forthcoming autumn fair.  We got what we wanted in Wilko. Following that we called in at a small coffee shop that we like for lunch. You would think that poached eggs and smashed avocado on toast with some bacon would be a light lunch. Not so. We now don't want any dinner this evening!

I spent some time when we got home trying to take some interesting pictures of the shrivelled hosta leaves but without much success. In order to have something to post here I settled on this one.
