Color on the island

Went looking for some color on our walk.   With a bit of ICM these big leaf maple leaves stood out.  Taken with the Sony but posted from the phone.    We packed up and left , even a tad early as there is a big windstorm   arriving tonight which we want to miss.   A wait for the ferry but we can relax… I think it will run but perhaps not tomorrow…The extra is the view over calm water from the boat to the marina where she lives when we are not here..… I’m not sure I’ve seen this much beautiful fall color here before,   Maples , some alders, Willow.  Wow
