Am I scary enough?

We have resorted to putting up a fake owl to keep the birds from coming into our house to enjoy our “hospitality”. We like to leave most our doors open to let in the sea air in when it’s hot (32C today) but it is tempting for the local magpies and such to come inside in search of food I presume.
