Public Art

Today saw a rare event - me visiting Glasgow. Some 25 plus years ago, I worked out at Glasgow Cross, looking out to the old Tolbooth Tower. Lunch hours often included a stroll around the neighbourhood which at that time was honestly pretty crappy. The intervening years have seen a complete turnaround. Although I did notice quite a lot of closed and boarded shops. The buildings, however, have mostly been washed and brushed up and the likes of this lovely frieze on Wilson Street really show up very well.
Have a great holiday weekend all!
