Maundy Thursday

Along to the Abbey, Paisley not Westminster, for Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday. There was only a handful of us there but despite the size of the building it still felt quite an intimate service.

For a Presbyterian Church the services can be quite "high" and as the service ended the Barsetshire novels of Anthony Trollope came to mind.

The Abbey will also be the venue for a live BBC Easter Service on Sunday morning at 10 am, congregation to be seated by 9.30.
