BRING ME SUNSHINE.....

A visit to Mum today.  Journey over to Morecambe was good.  We needed to borrow Mum's washing machine, just for a couple of loads, as ours went kaput a couple of days ago and it willl be about two weeks before Bosch can get an Engineer to us!!!!!

After that we took Mum over to Dunelm, which she loves and we neede to get a few things.  We went into the cafe, just for coffee to start with.   Was served by a very pleasant and helpful young man - this cafe can be a hit and miss with service, today it was excellent.

We then just did our shopping - Mum bought herself a new vacuum cleaner as well so she was happy.

Then just after getting home my Niece and her two boys, Shane (7) and Max (4) arrived, so I found myself building lego (very badly).  They are such lovely boys and wouldn't let me help them put it away because they said "we got it out we should put it away!!!"  then lots of blowing kisses and they were going home.

On the way home we stopped off at the bottom end of Morecambe Prom, just beyond The Midland Hotel and I took a few photos so have put them in this collage,  hope you like it. 

This statue of the late great Eric Morecambe made  think of the wonder Morecambe and Wise shows that used to be on the TV on a Saturday evening.  There were a few good double acts then, but these two, in my humble opinion were the very best (plus The Two Ronnies of course).
