The Goose and the Pump House

This pond was initially dug in 1536 and was fed by nearby springs - it acted as a reservoir to feed fountains at Hampton Court. The Pump House was built in 1920 and once housed a pump to control the flow of water. 
The autumn colours in the Waterhouse Gardens in Bushy Park are looking splendid. I enjoyed a lovely walk through there today.
