Somewhere near where the rainbow ends...

...somewhere south of Tartu, on a detour after leaving Lõunakeskus mall where we had lunch on the way to visit our goddaughter. The weather was variable, although we didn't have to drive in rain much. It was very windy, but luckily from behind most of the time, which helped save the expensive fuel! Slightly stressing anyhow, as the car wobbled with the gusts.

We had some extra time, so Triinu found a natural attraction to visit, Taevaskoda rocks near Põlva. A panorama of the Great Taevaskoda in the extra. It's 150 metres wide and almost 20 metres high, but my attempt at getting a panorama handheld was less than perfect. Anyhow, it covers almost the whole width, but it's a bit tilted. It's probably impossible to convey the feeling of the place in a photo. Something you can't see in the photo in this size is that there are lots of signatures carved in the rock, up to about eight metres and some with dates over 100 years old! In the upper part of the rock there are lots of holes where birds nest.
