Almost home

My day started with a 5 am wake up, then on the airport shuttle at 6 and on my first flight by 9am. It was crazy at the airport in Medellin since none of the announcements were in English - I finally just got in the boarding line and hoped for the best. Full flight.

Arriving in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic was like plunging into chaos! I was asked to sit and wait since I wasn’t terminating the the Dr. eventually a very nice young man got me and took me straight to the United gates. It was all a little weird, but also saved me the hassles of trying to navigate through the airport myself.

I’m now settled into my comfy first class seat for the 4-hour flight to Newark…and almost home to my Hubs!

I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight. I’ve still got one blip to post from the trip but won’t do that until tomorrow. Thanks again for coming along with me to Colombia! It was really a magical place.
