Turia Gardens
These 7km long gardens run from the east to the west of Valencia and apparently are Spain’s largest urban park. They’re used for all sorts of sporting and leisure activities. I love cycling or strolling through them. This morning we walked to Mestalla (Valencia’s football stadium) for a flea market but turned out that it had moved to a new site so I ended up visiting a market showcasing local startups and Mr P found himself watching a Swing Club, which he wants us to join. I said SWING! Lunch on the terrace and then, after our siesta, a walk around the Carmen district in the old town and ice creams in the evening.
