Beautiful to the end

I am a big fan of Hostas, along with any slugs and snails in my garden! Every year the new leaves arrive all beautiful and uneaten and I make a real effort to keep them that way and then one night when my guard is down the snails strike and I've lost the battle for another year. But I look forward to the new growth and the challenge each spring. Today I enjoyed looking closely at the ending of this year's growth and thought how beautiful the golden curled leaves look with the sunshine showcasing them.
