At 09:25 I was outside the Livraria Lello standing at the front of the priority queue, ready for opening time at 09:30.

Investing in a priority ticket was a smart move. The other queue was 150m long. It was worth the visit.

The afternoon brought a 4 hour port tasting tour (Cálem, Piano and Cruz) where I learned quite a lot and drank an equivalent amount. It was another multinational and multicultural group, and after 4 hours we were all lifelong friends.
