The Troyeville

Arnie fancied fish for lunch so we considered a couple of favourite places until we remembered the Troyeville had had a revamp. Built in 1905, and not really in the best part of the city, the Troyeville has always been a favourite spot for Sunday lunch gatherings of Portuguese families.

The food is still as great as ever, with the revamp doing a great job in providing different areas for watching sports (it’s within walking distance to Ellis Park), old style working man’s pub, restaurant, coffee shop, and roof bar for loud music.

We will definitely be back.
