Eye Opener

A beautiful sunny autumn day, blue skies and wonderful to see the colours as the leaves change. An added bonus was the clear water making some nice reflections. I took quite a lot of images, playing with different combinations trying to set off the bright colours against something, such as darker trees.

I like to play with the optical illusion created when there are foreground elements, reflections and the water surface. I hope that, at first glance, the image is not so easy to work out and a bit of a puzzle. And then to provide enough to entertain the eye. I don't know whether I succeed!

The opening in the branches is shaped like an eye and the beautiful colours are a feast for the eyes.
