Sunday: Freaky

So our original plan for our aborted trip to Victoria this weekend was to go and have dim sum.  Since we’ve had to postpone the trip we decided to stick to the plan as much as we could, so off we headed to ‘Floata’ in Chinatown.  Dim sum is always such a rewarding experience, and today we topped it off with some excellent egg custard tarts.

It was a bit blustery this morning but, so far, the predicted windstorm hasn’t come to very much.  So we’ve postponed for little reason but still better to be safe than sorry.  That said, the wind is picking up this evening.

All the Halloween decorations are out in force.  This was a particularly freaky sample which I spotted while out for a walk this afternoon.  I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it.
