Hellebore flower

Most years, by now there would be some exciting spring flowers and insects to photograph, but today I had to make do with this wonderful hellebore in my garden that has put two fingers up to the atrocious weather and flowered gloriously for nearly two months. This fantastic member of the buttercup family keeps me cheery while I wait for spring.
