Cones of the White pine

Yesterday friend H and l went to a private arboretum which was open for charity for one afternoon. It was a glorious Autumn day and we were both hoping for some wonderful coloured leaves. It turned out to be all conifers of different types so lots of green. There were some interesting pine cones, the ones in blip are from a white pine, there were runnels of sap down the long cones and l liked the drip at the bottom.
