House guests

Lovely when guests just relax and pull a game off the shelf and enjoy themselves. Joe is my godson and he has really blossomed recently , chatty and communicative.  Sue and Simon, very old friends joined us for lunch today which was good fun.  I cooked a Diana Henry lunch from the one pot book, chicken and ‘nduja and roast fruit in marmelade sauce.  All very good.  Manda and family went back to London mid afternoon and we just sat gossiping with the others until evening.  

LOT of clearing up to do!
