SUP/Jetski
Two birds with one stone as the saying goes. The first use of a board to stand on that's propelled by an oar probably occurred several thousand years ago. The modern paddleboard is credited to John Ah Choy who started it in Waikiki in the 1940s. The Jetski came along about twenty years later in the 1960s and was developed by Clayton Jacobson III in California. As today was a public holiday, and the sun came out briefly, there were more people out on the water. The takeaways were doing a brisk trade and the local coffee cafe had a food cart too. Thanks to Laurie54/Carolina for hosting.
