Car Tyres

In 1844 Charles  Goodyear patented vulcanisation of rubber, in 1888 John Dunlop patented the first pneumatic tyre for use on bicycles.  In 1895 Andre Michelin became the first to use pneumatic tyres on a car. The tyre continued to evolve and still does today.  Bit of a bumpy ride without them. Thanks Laurie54/Carolina for hosting Mono Monday inventions.
