Autumn at Crathes

My search for some autumn colour takes me to Crathes today. A view over part of the walled garden finally introduces a colourful display. It would look better from higher up no doubt.

Lots of families hunting for spooks. Due to staff shortages the cafe was unable to open, they definitely missed a lot of trade today.

The weather was quite overcast, we thought we could get caught in a downpour, but it did not happen.

Went to the local Indian restaurant for dinner. I have never seen it so busy in all the years I have been going there. This was our first visit in at least eighteen months.. Looks like lots of people were desperate for a taste of the orient.
