Day of rain

A hawthorn leaf stuck to the front window .. 

Rain started early, and it rained for about 24 hours. We were on the south edge of the atmospheric river coming in from the Pacific. The electrical power system was under stress - PG&E reporting several thousand customers out a mile or two from us. We had at least 6 instances of power out for more than 30 seconds, which upsets the computers and network equipment which don't have their own batteries. Put on rain gear and walked around the neighborhood in the afternoon, moving fallen branches and clearing street gutters.
