Blood test day.

Poppy had a big day today.

We started investigations into why she has been losing the fur on her nose. I took her into work for a blood test. She is very scared of the vets and had to be sedated but she was so brave.

Amy the vet and Laura the nurse were so patient waiting for her to go all drowsy. Anyway, they got all the blood we needed and off to the lab it went.

Thankfully, the results came back normal; thyroid levels were normal, as was her kidney/liver function & Red/white blood count etc. I now need to talk to the dermatologist about further investigations, which will involve skin scrapes and biopsies. Poor Poppy.

I took Cassie out for a walk after I got back from the vets (thought it might help my stress levels not to mention the headache I've had since Monday) as she had been alone for a lot of the morning and she was very intrigued by the piggies.
