The weather was better than forecast and I only experienced one short light shower all day.

I drove to Windermere and shopped at Lakeland and Booths. Then went down to Bowness, was early enough to get parked ok, had a walk around the Glebe and took some photos. The Canada Goose posed nicely for me and there are a few other shots in extras.  It was a slow drive home (half term holiday traffic). In the afternoon I cut the back lawn and took the grass cuttings and some other items to the recycling site. Getting out of there and back through Ambleside took ages (tourists again).  Think I’ll leave the car at home for the rest of the week unless I really have to use it.
