Large Fungi

Today we visited RSPB Burton Mere in search of egrets as the weather looked fine and the rest of the week is looking decidedly wet. No luck on that front, apart from a very distant view of a Great White from Burton Point. But we did find some very large specimens of fungi up there. I have no clue what type this is. 
We finally made it to Nel's cafe at Burton Marshes and had a nice lunch, and it was great to be able to sit outside in the sunshine. 
The only minor annoyance with our trip out today was that there seemed to be a plot to stop us getting to Parkgate with two roads closed, so we gave up in the end. I hope it wasn't awash with egrets today :)
