Trago Mills

This burst of Autumn colour is in a Japanese style garden in the unlikely setting of Trago Mills, a very large retail store just off the A38 near Newton Abbott which rather incongruously features a rather weary looking leisure park, which was only partly open despite it being half term, and a small farm animal “zoo”, which had also seen better days although the animals seemed happy enough and well cared for.

There is also a large garden centre with a large area devoted to themed gardens, where I took this blip.

We had to vacate our lodges by 9 this morning so called in for an excellent (and excellent value) cooked breakfast in the restaurant and a wander around so that Sophie could see the animals. The retail centre itself sells all sorts of things and is very popular. It was certainly very busy by mid-morning when we headed for home.
