Relocated
Two job for Dad this half term, both completed today. The two (pink) hydrangeas which did very little in the first summer of the raised bed but were in their full, out-of-colour-scheme glory this summer, have been moved to the side bed where their pinkness will be less out of place. A hebe was sacrificed and the rose that has never quite been right was given a second chance on the other side of the garden. The other more prosaic job was re-siting the whirligig spike so that it no longer lists at a ridiculous angle.
We walked the loop either side of the new road this afternoon, booked a table for lunch tomorrow and I finished my first book of the holidays - and have plenty to choose from for the next one.
