Testing

A day of cleaning, tidying  and baking an experimental batch of salted caramel cupcakes before Charley's parents came over for dinner which was a splendid chicken and leek pie, cooked by Alex, with roast potatoes, roast carrots and tenderstem broccoli. 

After R & C left I spent some time working out how to use the flash with my new camera. I'd taken it out to Thorpe Wood in the afternoon, planning to photograph some slime-moulds, but couldn't get the flash to work. All sorted out now after a bit of online research - of course I had to try it out, and Charley was the nearest model.,
