Sunset from le pont d’Arcole

I spent today working out of our Paris office before dinner with my management team. It was great to see everyone after over two years, and a lot of fun. We went for a quick walk before dinner, and I caught this splendid sunset near the Pompidou Centre.

Footnote. Our peaceful evening walk was interrupted by around 10 screaming police vans making their way in convoy along the banks of the Seine from the Palais du Justice. France is currently in the middle of the largest criminal trial in its history - trying the terrorists who attacked the Bataclan in 2015. Hopefully justice will be done.
