We went for a lovely long hike in the sunshine today. I met some friendly lambs who came running over to see me. I crouched next to them and held out my hand and they nudged my fingers with their warm noses. Very cute.

Last day of school term today. Gemma's dyed her hair bright red, and Tess has been to a school disco. I'm having trouble accepting that it's Easter hols and still feel like tomorrow is a school day.

Despite the day starting with snow it melted very quickly and it's been much more springlike today and I feel that we're on the up.
