Snowy Campsies

I spent a wonderful afternoon meandering along the country lanes around Balfron where we are house and dog sitting for the weekend while our daughter and younger grandson are away to a football tournament. He was very excited when he left this afternoon as he has hit a high spot in his playing just now. is noe the team's lone striker and has scored three goals in the last two games and a hat trick in the game previous to these two. Hope all goes well as they will be in Blackpool for the tournament.

Any way the beauty of all this is we get to wander around different scenery for the next few days and don't have to travel down the Rest at the weekend when more bad weather has been forecast. Today was wonderful , lovely light and shadows bringing out the contours of the Campsie Hills .
