Is it me?

How did we get so obsessed with Halloween? I don’t remember it much when I was young and I didn’t let my children go trick or treating? I argued that it was not nice to scare people for treats? I don’t like the dark side either - there is enough gruesome stuff around.

I spotted this in town earlier today - heaven help any arachnophobic people shopping! I had an eye test scheduled (I could rant about masks and aprons but one rant is enough). No change in vision so no expense or new glasses. Town is sad with lots of shops closed so I didn’t hang around but went home for more bulb planting until it started raining. Standard Monday night fare (cold meat and jacket potato) scrabble (I won) completed the day. A 7/10 Monday
