France - Day 8

A trip to Portes Vendres to wander around the port and the headland, with a little lunch,

Our favourite restaurant was closed due to "conges annuel" - annual holiday, but we found a very pleasant alternative.

A gull, a fisherman and, in the distance, a very large sailing boat - schooner?  We had seen two of them anchonred off Collioure on our way and hoped to have a look on our way back, but that was not to be.
