Year 2 Day 217 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 321 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

We had granddaughter Amelia overnight after I picked her up from pre-school yesterday. She was wearing her Halloween outfit. Getting her ready to take back to pre-school this afternoon she was adamant she was wearing it again, despite having a clean dress her mum had given us. It was easier to let her get her way on the provisio she let me take a photograph - which you can see! Makes a colourful photo on a drab day.

After dropping her off we enjoyed a walk around Abergavenny town (Wales) where mask wearing is compulsory in shops.  They're not required in cafe's, restaurants and pubs! We had a coffee in Wetherspoons, which was packed, and not one person wore one. Just doesn't make sense at all !
