The Last Day.....
What a perfect day to end the workshop on. Beautiful location and gorgeous weather. We spent the whole day in the vicinity of Blea Tarn with views over the Langdales. What was difficult was what to photograph. Landscape, hills, water, streams, woodland, fungi, even cows!
Towards the end of the day a few of us walked up the hill behind the tarn to this viewpoint, and for me it summed up the day. It's the same image as John Gravett's but much better photographed by me (not!) I have added an extra of the cheeky fungi I found in the woods too.
It was also blip's 17th birthday today, so it couldn't have more apt that I was on my last workshop with the person who introduced me to this community - John Gravett.
We had to visit Baldrey's tearoom in Grasmere on our way back to Fern Howe. It didn't really matter that we didn't have much time to deal with our photos when we got back.
A very memorable week with good company and The Lakes as our backdrop.
