Faith, Hope and Charity

It has been a busy time, hence no blips, but at last a wee break.

I travel up to Inverness for the belated Etape Loch Ness. The train journey is quite relaxing, and the scenery is pretty good. When I get to Inverness, the hotel restaurant is closed. As the town is quite busy, it is going to be a bit difficult to get an evening meal. i pick up my race pack from the event village, and a nice coffee from a mobile barista van. Then I do a wee walk around the city. The blip shows the Faith Hope and Charity statues, a brief history on the BBC website here. Evening meal is a takeaway. At least the hotel bar is open, so a pint and a packet of peanuts before bed.
