Collecting Olives

The traditional method of harvesting Olives….
A big mat is laid out on the ground, while a couple of workers…..with long flexible sticks….beat the branches, and the ripe olives fall on to the mat, to be collected. 
Plastic boxes are filled with the olives, and they are taken to the Cooperatives where they are washed and graded.
